Looks big, Willi.  Where's the top wing?
Cheers,
Bud

Bud, you should know, Willi likes Eindeckers. ;)

Willi, the Uhu will be a monster, compared to our WW I kites. :o

Cheers,
Ernie :)

What a wondeful job in your Eindecker.

The metal "metal" parts and fuselage weathering it's beyond what my simple english can express. To see what your skill can do among with so many others in this fórum... it's a real pleasure and quite an inspiration.

Thx for the pics. Very nice work.

Cheers.

I have been waiting for the .04mm tubing to arrive from JBModel but no luck after e-mails . So now if anyone knows a company that sells micro tubing I can finish the Endecker and tripe I have been working on.

If your nickname has anything to do with living in the U.S., Sprue Brothers carries it.

Well this is not WW1 but this showed up at my doorstep today .One of my Fav`s  little pricey but well worth it !

This is one of my favourite aircraft. I have the Tamiya 1/48 kit in my stash but from what I've read about this 1/32 release, the detail is amazing. Keep us posted as you build her.

Cheers,

Chris
You can have it good; You can have it fast; you can have it cheap. Pick any two, but all three are impossible.

Just seen this..

Lovely metal work - I've never tried foil before - looks tricky!

Great thread Chris

  Hi Chris,

I have built the Tamyia 219 and it`s a nice kit . Last year I was at the nationals IPMS  Orlando and saw both the Revel and ZM 219 . After seeing the parts of both I preordered the ZM 219 . They really did their homework on this Aircraft .well worth the 191 dollars I spent on it !

Well the tubing is ordered so should have the tubing in about a week . Then I can get back to work on the Endecker. I do love my German aircraft from both war :).

    Thanks ,

               Willi

The foil takes some practice and takes some time to do but I think it came out OK for the first try.

Willi,
That's not O.K. , it's outstanding. I use the Bare Metal for hose clamps and wiring bundle straps etc. but never thought of this for the EIII. Nicely done!
Cheers,
Lance

Willi, hopefully without belabouring the foil bit too much,
Which Bare Metal foil did you use, they have several.  I thought
it was the matt Aluminum one, but it looks so shiny in your
pictures was it the Chrome sheet?

Cheers,
Ernie :)

Willi, great work, and a lot to look at. The BMF looks great, the machining marks are genius. you have ushered in a whole new approach to getting that bit right. I know I'll be trying it.

Willi, what Lance and California Mike said- that looks outstanding!  I also like the weathering on the fuselage, too.

This is a great build.

Thank you for all the comments ,

I have ordered the tubing I need ,but still not here so I have not done much on the model . As for the bare metal foil I used the Matte foil .

        Thank you,

                Willi
