Two gorgeous looking models Rick both finished perfectly, well done on a superb job.

As I said on your last entry in Under Construction Rick, superb! Crisp, clean, skillfully finished and fitting illustrations of your considerable talents.
Is the D.VII Group Build next??
Cheers,
Lance

Congratulations on completing both in such magnificent fashion, Amigo! This is modeling at it's finest.

BRAVO!
Excellent builds Rick, it was pleasure following them :)

Lovely pair of models! In the "Are they models or are they real" category. Love what you did with the weathering on the underside of the Snipe.
Stuart
-
Inspiring work, Rick! It is tough to pick a favourite from the two so I will
call it a draw. If I could come close to your excellence, I would be some
pleased. Well done, my friend!
Cheers,
Ernie :)
-
Beautiful job on both builds Rick , your snipe is very impressive !
Terri
-
Both are real beauties Rick but after having just competed a German aircraft model, I find that I'm particularly drawn to your Snipe. She doesn't have the graceful lines or colour that your Albatros exhibits, but there's just something about what you've done with her that draws my attention. Could it be that engine oil blow-back I wonder? ;) Well done on both!
Cheers,
Chris

Hello, Rick -
Superb work on both models, but my favorite out of the two is your Albatros DV - the fuselage wood tone just looks spot on to me.
Well done, mate!

Well done Amigo !!!!!!!
Ed

Thank you very much for your comment, as always greatly appreciated!

Chris, you have become a fantastic WW1 modeler in a very short time frame! I really appreciate the comments. Like you, I have a preference for the Snipe build! That oil staining was blatantly stolen from someone else's build of a Snipe or Pup, old age prevents me from remembering whose build it was a month or two ago, or maybe it is the Beer :-X

Congrats on two excellent models Rick. Way to put an exclamation point on your Featured Modeller status. Well done.

Nicely done Rick.
Some of the others have mentioned the wood colour on the Albatros, I like it too. Pretty much how I would picture an Albatros. Love the Snipe too.
And congrats on being modeller of the month.

Thanks Bo! I greatly appreciate your comments! I also appreciate your constant excellence in detailing. You give us all Ideas and even though I may never attain your level, I can incorporate a few things here and there

Excellent builds especially doing them both at the same time! That Snipe looks great in particular with the more complicated double-bay rigging pulled off so well
-
Absolutely great models! The weathering is first class Rick. I admire an ability to work on two models at the same time with as high quality of work as yours!
-
Rick,
Excellent indeed!
Dwayne
-
Both are superb models! I'm not big on the German types in particular, but your Albatros is very well done.

Thank You! I always appreciate your comments. I am satisfied with the oil blowback on the Snipe but there are still acouple of things I hope to master when I tackle the Pup.
