Hello,
So here she is, nothing fancy I know. The most boring scheme ever, I know. The most boring aircraft of the Great War, I KNOW but still wanted to have one... The WiP thread: https://forum.ww1aircraftmodels.com/index.php?topic=9346.0 (https://forum.ww1aircraftmodels.com/index.php?topic=9346.0)
Painted with Tamiya XF7 and artistic oils etc.

Outstanding MvR triplane! You have chosen a great shade of red and the very subtle weathering looks awesome!

Most boring, but........most famous!
The irony is almost as good as your model. ;D
I agree with Rick, great shade of red and the very subtle weathering looks awesome.
Very well done Filip. 8)

Outstanding Filip, a monochromatic scheme that looks awesome.
-
Very nice!
-
Beautifully done, Filip! If anyone can pull off an all red Dr.I and make look like something very special, it's you.
Cheers,
Bud

Nicely done and great photos too !

What the others have written - boring maybe, but still a first class model in every way.

Great model - iconic!!

A spectacular Ferrari, Filip. Clean and crisp.

Excellent! We all have to do MvR at least once in our lives. I really like your subtle shading. Bringing off a single-colored model well takes some effort.

You made the all red livery not boring, and made a very good model. It's eyecatching.

Obvious subject and single overall colour or not, I think it looks great! :)

Outstanding Filip, like all of your Builds. A monochrome finish is always a real challenge but you've captured it beautifully, and the subtle highlights are very impressive.
A really nice piece of work, well done! 8) 8) 8)

Yeah, Filip...boring, schmoring....when any WWI kit is built and treated as well as you've done this one, it's quite impossible to be boring so no need to qualify nothin'. And as Gaz said, we all need to do the Flying Uhlan at least once. I did the Revell 1/28 some years back.
-
Not boring, but wonderful work. Its very inspiring to see it such well done. Regards. Paul

That is a really nice red Ferrari.
I would be lucky, if my red Dr.I looks one day a little bit like yours!
Cheers,
Frank
