Gorgeous job of the SPAD, Dave!  Super result of the
paint, touching up the decals and of course, the rigging.
Nicely done, my friend. :D

Cheers,
Ernie :)

Lovely! I've invested in one of these too. It looks very good indeed in the box and I got the Part PE set cheap too.

Ermieo, Ernie & Dave - thank you!

Lovely! I've invested in one of these too. It looks very good indeed in the box and I got the Part PE set cheap too.

Just be aware there are a few fit issues with this kit here and there.   The top cowling panels will not fit if you have built the engine complete.  I ended removing some engine parts to get the cowling in place.  Even then, a fair bit of work was required to get a neat fit - I ended up using strips of plastic sheet to help fill large gaps.  I also reduced the length of undercarriage axle - it seemed a bit wide from the box.
Lastly, Roden decals require a great deal of care to work with.

Good luck with your build of this kit - I look forward to seeing how you get on with this one.

Regards

Dave
As we say in fencing, what's the point?

Congratulations on completing this rather difficult to build kit. Your final result is very fine!
