Richard at Aviattic deserves high praise for his integrity after his announcement they have withdrawn the 1/48th Siemens Schuckert lozenge decal sheets from sale due to some perceived shortcomings in them. they are being re-done and re-printed . This is a financial blow to Aviattic and kudos to them for stepping up and “owning” the problem and withdrawing the decals for re-doing before there were any customer complaints.
Richard says replacement sheets will be sent out to customers when ready.
From what I see of the withdrawn sheets there's nothing seriously wrong with them and the lozenge cookie cut decals are light years better than the crap decals Eduard placed in their new SSW D.III box!
Still, Aviattic want their products to be perfect and their decision to re-do the SSW. D.III sheets is to be applauded. I wish other model companies had the degree of integrity that Richard and Aviattic have.

I agree, as well, Dave! Richard's the best. Though the problem is very small and easily fixed using spare lozenge, he's taking extraordinary action. With all of Aviattic's new projects on the horizon, I hope this doesn't financially impact Richard too much.
Cheers,
Bud

very much agreed! Not my scale, but that speaks volumes about character, and getting it right.

My thoughts too. Great people, great products!

Yes, I completely agree! Richard has always gone above and beyond in providing the best product and customer service possible. I can't say enough, except that he has won me over as a customer for life.

I couldn't agree more with all that's been said about Richard and Aviattic.
Anyone who pursues trying to perfect the colors used in lozenge must be a stickler for detail in the first place. :)
Great Product + Great Service = Great Company!
Thanks again for all you do Richard.
Best Regards, Chuck
P.S. My lozenge order with the replacement top wing arrived in yesterday's post.

All the best!

Outstanding products, service, and customer loyalty since their arrival on the market! It follows that we should all continue to support Aviattic with continued business; no hardship for this modeller given the sheer quality and timeliness of their products!
Class move Richard, well done!
Cheers,
Lance
