Hello fellow enthusiasts!
Embarking on a new journey into the realm of World War I (actually, pre-World War II) aircraft modelling, I find myself exhilarated by the prospect of delving deeper into this captivating era. Although my involvement in scale modelling has been intermittent, the spark was ignited by my father's thoughtful gift—a 1/72 Airfix Henschel H.S.129—presented to me at the tender age of 8.
While my collection of aircraft from this period remains modest, comprising an Eduard Fokker D.VII and Fokker Dr.I in 1/48 scale, alongside a decade-old Wingnut Wings Albatros D.V and the recently acquired CSM Nieuport XXIII in 1/32 scale, I'm eager to expand my horizons further.
Operating from the humble setting of my living room table, I lack the space for 3D or mask printers. However, this limitation doesn't dampen my enthusiasm.
With anticipation bubbling within me, I eagerly anticipate engaging with the vibrant community here on the forum.

Welcome on board Bennet ;D
Lots of help and encouragement to be found here and plenty of inspiration in the older threads which are well worth a browse. (I really must add a Belgian aircraft to my collection; a Strutter or Hanriot are favorites)

Warren,
Good to have you with us. For WW1 information this is the place. A great deal of knowledge, hints and tips. Not to worry about the amount of space you have to work in, just that you enjoy what you do.
I must caution of one thing: This group is made up of photo-ahollics. We crave photos of peoples work. Good, bad or in between, please post it. We will love to see them.
