Hi Boogie

I haven’t really thought about what I’m going to do with them.

They were really hard to get.  Small Order Quantities from China don’t really fit their industrial scale capacity.  I posted a public tender, got lucky and found a small manufacturer, developed a relationship, sent photos of the wheels and they were happy to make to my specification.

My mate in Texas is a great Fokker Dr.I fan, he’s making Fokker Dr.I 141/17 and needed some natural rubber tyres.  Thought it would be nice to go the extra yard and help him (I’ll post photos of his build soon).

Maybe I should send a pair to Jamo for a review; they’re just like milky-bar chocolate for modellers.  I’m still prancing around my lounge room, glass of wine in-hand, awash with little rubber o rings.  ;D

Best Regards

Are they suit for 32 scale?
Do you sell them in little quantities?

It takes a real man to assemble a pink engine......and be proud to show it off.
Well, Big Mike, I'm trying to get one so we can match.
Cheers,
Bud

Vallorbe needle files...
you bring up memories of an old toolshop in the '80s where I bought also steel thread and some other tools...
I don't know if it is still open, since I moved in the meantime, but it was like a treasure cave
you could left a fortune there

These came in the mail today from John Vojtech at Scale Spokes, they will be going onto my Blackburn Heavy Monoplane scratch build. A good selection of different tyres as well as weighted resin tyres come with each set, pretty good for $20/set, they were on special, usually sell for $26/set.
