1/72 Airfix Roland C.II (C.IIa)

Airfix Roland C.II built as a C.IIa.  This would have been from the last production order (2700/16 - 2739/16) which had the aileron controls moved to the upper wing and enlarged the tail flying surfaces.
I used an engine from Roden as well as the prop, spinner and wheels.  Scratched the interior, tail flying surfaces and rollover structure.

Beautiful job Scott! It's hard to believe what the base kit was - that interior is gorgeous.

Wow! That is the old Airfix Kit?! Amazing interior detail and the compass on the lower wing is a real gem.

Many congratulations on making this old timer look like a WNW 1/32 scale model.
