Sopwith Tripe with skis//Eduard//1:48

Hello,
Finally the Triphound is done. It represents N5486, which was transferred to Russia in May 1917. One can see the picture of her in Windsock data file just before Russian revolution, still bearing British markings.
Eduard’s Trip was equipped with PE part and resin rotary engine, which was enhanced little bit by me. I do not recon any significant problems during the building despite the wings assembly and repositioning of outer struts angle, which has not been accomplished in 100%
and some gymnastics
regards

Beautifully done K! I didn't realize that the skis were articulated on your model!

A very nice Tripe, K, and the finish is a real eye catcher. Great work on the skis as well, a very attractive and unique conversion, one you can be very proud of!

Your aircraft is exceptional - I had to check the scale on it since the model looks bigger based on the detail, rigging and finishing. Well done indeed!

I really like conversions - this one I not only like but admire. The detail that you have put in is amazing - even more so the articulated skis.

I like it. A very neat way to make something different. BTW did the IRAS ever get the triplane to the front?

Outstanding! The model and your skill is absolutely stunning, but the skies are the cherry on top.
