Wow!  Nice haul, Russell!  That Gamecock is particularly intriguing to me.  Alley Cat resin kits are really top notch.
Cheers,
Bud

Love the Gamecock! I am curious as to sources and cost? One of my Squadrons is 43 Sq. so the kit markings are perfect!

Just a point regarding the earlier custom charge discussion..

Yes, the payment is scandalous, but what's worse is that my Felistowe arrived at UK customs on Dec 23rd and it's still sitting in their warehouse (as of Jan 11th!) they were gracious enough to post an update 2 days ago - released to the custom charging process...

But don't get me started about tax - our last holiday the airport tax was £600 - 90% of that was UK tax and 10% went to the visiting country...

Grrrr

My Teddy for the DVII arrived today  ::)

Ack! I am glad you found one! Didn't I say I would send you one? I totally spaced it out  :-[

Its all good BO! I have the same issue sometimes  8)

I love seeing that Teddy! It's funny to see a haul of several hundred dollars worth of great modelling stuff, followed by a tiny, single part cut from a sprue - it's a great contrast.

It was kind of a joke for that very reason  :D

Thanks for all of the comments about my acquisition! As for the data file I have an expert that says the drawings aren't to be trusted! I will use photos to convert as necessary  :P

With three cats in the house and the ever present dust, I was pretty happy to pick this case up at our local warehouse store(Costco) last weekend:

Also, I won this, along with the Gotha! datafile, on ebay recently:

This is a project for the future, once I get some other projects done. (Or am unable to resist.  ::))

It looks like you have been sent the Late model 1916 Teddy by mistake. You can tell by the ever so slightly too big ears & the angle of the legs. Easy mistake to make, it will look good with a late Eindecker, but out of place on the the D.VII.

Windsock Datafile's "Teddy Bear Special"  is ever so handy in these instances, but just impossible to find anywhere. Literally.

We can't even send you a scan of the relevant sections, ..
You know, their copyright policy is so tight.
I agree with the comment: We cannot trust so much these profiles, since compared with the photos the teddy bear's ears appear a tad too broad and the nose sits too high art the eyes
:-)
