How do I order an Albion Alloy STRUTTER?

     AFAIK, the Albion Alloy Strutter has been out of production a few years now. If memory serves I think there was a previous thread somewhere on here about them and the possibility of finding one, finding a substitute, etc.

    I've been chasing the elusive "Strutter" for years with no success. It's out of production and the only substitute I am aware of is a 3D Plastic one that used to be available from Shapeways or perhaps from Bo Munroe directly.  I have not pursued that option.
   Mike Norris was successful in a recent request for info from Albion here:

   Perhaps he may have an update. If this tool became available again I'd certainly grab one!

The strutter is nothing else than flat vise jaws.
If you see the Albion video you will see, that any other little vice with flat vise jaws will do the job if you hold the wire going through by hand. I use with success the Proxxon PM 40.

The max length is 46mm with is long enough for my struts.

Gentelmen  thanks for your inforation.  I'll try using one of my vises

I checked Amazon and they have a number of vises on sale at various price ranges. I ordered the WEN 33124A and should have it tomorrow.  If its unsatisfactory I'll returnit and  order the Proxxon vise.

I found the WEN Vise heavy,13 pounds, and awkward to operate as well as concern I had about the accuracy of closure to make struts
