Just announced on their FB page: https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=2764447217177353&id=1617634748525278&comment_id=2764454840509924¬if_t=feed_comment_reply¬if_id=1597229501047754&ref=m_notif

Fantastic news, go CSM!!!
-
Yes good news indeed, especially the Caudron.
It does seem strange that a Sopwith 'Baby' is on the cards, considering 'Lukgraph' have both the Sopwith and Italian Ansaldo covered in this scale,

I am excited about Copper States plans. I will be purchasing the NIeuports. The Caudron is interesting but probably will be outside of MY Price range....and skill Level 8) I am sure Many Here will be all over the Caudron. That brings Me to Lukgraph. I am almost certainly going to buy the Copper State version of the Baby for two reasons. 1. I am certain that it will be more in My price range( Retired with a Crappy Portfolio :-\) )
2. It will be injection Molded Plastic vs Resin. More friendly for the "Average" Modeler. In addition If I am Not Mistaken the Lukgraph kits are Limited Production? By the time CSM releases their Baby it May Not be around? JMHO and only relative to Me perhaps.

I have just found it on FB, too. Very good news, especially that they are getting to the end of the Nieuport series.;) I have finally got one but it will be enough I guess. I am not too fond of this simple type. But then, that Caudron is a thrilling announcement. Polish versions possible, it will be a must-have! Baby less so, I doubt I will add any more, when Lukgraph's one is already sitting in my cabinet. .

We are planning to have it cheaper then Nieuport, could be around 50-53eur or so

Way to go Edgar! I'm looking forward to both the Caudron and the Baby.
When can we pre-order the Nie.XXXIII? I'll want to start with three, since you've selected such great markings! Thanks for your efforts at serving our modeling community.
Best regards,
Bob

Really good news! Lovely! Marc.

Not really. Not everyone likes to pay resin prices for kits. 8) This is terrific news indeed! Keep going CSM!

That makes sense. The Caudron has about as much plastic and total surface on it as, say an Airco DH.2. Less plastic, less cost, maybe?
-
Way to go CSM ;D ;D :D, these are great models to add to my collection, looking forward to buying a bunch of those new releases.
-
Looking forward to the Baby, but had hopes for a Starstrutter. Went from two great companies planning one (to the extent CADs were developed?) to a maybe-Meng.
The CSM new kits announcement is a welcome portent of good things to come.

Great news indeed! But, for now, how do I explain to my wife I need another Nieuport?? :D

These people are pulling me towards the dark side, I feel a tug from the land of giants at the thought of that Caudron G.III....

You and me both Old Man.

Yes, and I guess they already did some Research and Developement work on the 1/48th scale kit. So I will put MY Average skills to the test after all on the Caudron ;D

Maybe not Meng for the 'strutter' - as I understood, Meng only tooled the DR.1.
That said WNW apparently had tooling done in Korea, so you never know,

The Caudron G.III sounds fantastic -- I hope Copper State keeps producing kits of the unusual variety!
-
Not to sound selfish, but is/was a nieuport 17bis with the streamlined fuselage in the cards?
Although the fuselage would require different moulds, it does look totally different. And there were a fair number built.
Just wishing ;).. The Caudron and sopwith are in my wishlist....

Any chance of a 1/48 Caudron G.III and Sopwith Baby?
-
Great news! Will be getting at least one of each!
Cauldron is someone new and interesting- the rigging scares me a bit ???
-
Folks..check out the Copper State Models' Forum shop on this site where Edgar is seeking input to choose the fourth scheme for their forthcoming RFC Nieuport XXIII kit.
There's a free RFC Nieuport XXIII kit on offer as a prize!

Very nice news, but in wrong scale ;) for me - a Caudron G.III in 1/48 would be very nice too.
Cheers,
Frank

As Dave has mentioned, Edgar from CSM is holding a contest over on the hobby shop board of our site to pick a scheme for the RFC N.23 release.
This represents a great opportunity to influence a major manufacturer! In case you need a link, look here -

Purchased every one and will keep doing so - and it cross-subsidises the string bags! It’s a win-win all round.

Brilliant choices Edgar. Interesting and different. With Roden’s announcements this really fills out the range. Let’s support them ($) so they can make more
(Thought- I guess there’s time to save and thin the stash a bit to make room for these...)
-
Great! Moreno ey I've got to spend lol
-
Any more news on these?
-
Great news. Looking forward to a more friendly Baby!!
