My dear friends I'm back.
I spent a lot of time trying to do my comet and I gave up.
and I was looking for someone who can do it for me.
In the meantime, I decided to finish the model of the CH-37 Mojave 1:72 helicopter, from the Vietnam War.
I began it in December 2009. It need a lot of scratch building. I made interior of the cargo cabin , one of my colleagues made for me PE covers for engines. I spent a lot of time completing this model.
I can boast about some photos from the construction of this helicopter.
Cargo cabin.
Engine covers.
Finished model
On modeling competition in LASK this model, he took second place.
I think my absence here is a bit justified.
At that time I was looking for someone who would make me comet masks, I finally found who made those masks for me.
I painted it white and here there was a catastrophe. At the time of applying the second part of the mask, everything twisted, the mask was long and thin.
It was necessary to make decals.
After finishing the comet I painted the crossbars.
Now it's time to make interplane struts.
Rigging has caused me a lot of trouble, for me it is the most difficult.
Finally, the model is made.
The model is very difficult to make. It requires a lot of your own work.
I am so proud of myself that I managed to finish this model.
A second grandson was born to me in Belgium recently, and it is a good opportunity to make another model of the Belgian Air Force. It will be Sopwith Camel, I have already started the model and will show it in a separate thread.
Adam.
