Your kind thoughts are very much appreciated. I still plan to take some better photos for the finished model section.
I'm going to take a brief break from WW1 models and do a quick 1/48 model of a Curtiss RC3 as portrayed in the brilliant "Porco Rosso" movie by Hayao Miyazaki. I've already made the red Maachi from the same movie so it needs a companion. If you want to watch a movie about flying and air combat this is one of the very best...even if it is animation with a pig for a pilot.
