Good to see the Schweinhund in there - I think that's the one I'll be doing first!

Small peeve: adding the tail serials would add the option of doing the wartime version.

Yummy :)

.. The abbreviated title came over as: Eduard SE5a for Marc.... I will take this as a sign!!

This is on the "must have" list, as is the Hispano engine version later. Fingers crossed this is not a repeat of the Eduard Siemens Schuckert SNAFU.
Rule #1 for WW1 model production- don't overthink it or get too clever for yourself.

I asked Eduard recently if they were to re-issue more ww1 1/48 kits, hinting on the Camel that is now suddenly popular in 1/32 thanks to WNW.
They stated that they were planning several re-issues, the SE.5a as the first.
In asking they stated clearly they are to be re-issues and not new moulds.

Page 18 of this leaflet from Eduard shows some nice looking Brassin upgrades in the works, with props, radiator and MGs:

I am a little confused: how can the SE5a be the first "re-issue" as it is a brand new mould. Did you mean perhaps the Camel will be a re-issue?

That looks very nice. Perhaps yhe best ww1 eduard kit yet. Wish it wasnt an ugly ass se5a. I will most likely eventually get both versions and probably the brassin stuff.
