Beautiful work Terri.
I've always loved the way you arent daunted from tackling some real sows ears into silk purses.

I look on enviously at what yourself and the others manage in 1:48th and 1:72nd & even lower scales.

Wow Terri! A magnificent looking SSW. Superb work - the kit itself is a challenge and the result simply great!
Best regards

Excellent work on this vintage kit. WWI aircraft kits have come a long way since the 1st generation of Eduard kits hit the market.

Hi Terri,

the 1/144 SSW D.III will most probably be on my bench in January, I have to finish the Nieuport first and for December I joined a pretty crazy event called New Year's deathmatch - along with 17 other WWI fans from the Czech republic we will be building the new Eduard kit (that means 17 people building 17 SSW D.III, not 17 people building one kit  :) ). Kick-off is on 1st December and deadline for finishing is 31st Dec midnight. I guess this will be a good preparation for the scratch project.

Once again many thanks for the instructions scan, it helped me clarify many points which had been unclear before.

Cheers

Ondra

Hi Terri,

For an "unbuildable embarassment" you have done a TERRIffic job! Some people can be quite arrogant, do they? Anyway I wished I had your skills to finish my builds like you did. Congratulations!

Kind regards
Patrick

Don't know where I was to miss this one in the completed form.  Really nice job, Terri!

Great Job. Your SSW is in all areas very well done, but I like especially your work on the overpainted Lozenge.
A model thrives on its overall impression and not on that every little disagreement over the original is hyped up as a disaster
