Title: Cross-use of decals?
Post by: mike in calif on December 18, 2014, 01:05:56 AM
Has any one worked out which decal emblems can be switched around from plane to plane on WNW kits? The Raven decals ought to work fro the Pfalz, Albie, and DVII, and I see that Degelows stag was used on a Pfalz. Any others?

I can only confirm the opposite as of now: Kissenberth's Edelweiss cannot be switched between the Albatros D.V and the Roland D.VIa. They look similar, but that is all - they are not identical, unfortunately.

On the other hand the marking on the W.12' box cover can be found on one of the profiles for the W.29...

I'd just take a wild guess and say that the Ravens should work reasonably well on most of the Jasta 18 machines that carried them.
