Title: WnWRumpler CIV "Early"
Post by: MS406 on December 18, 2014, 10:57:17 PM
So here she is in her full splendor, sexy and clean lines. I just missed some details, the wind shield has to be glued and a Gaspatch anemometer is on its way!
This plane, serial unknown, is belonging to the Marine Feld-flieger Abteilung stationed at Varsenaere in Flanders in 1917. This kit was a joy to build, weathering was kept to a decent level, I hope you will like it, best regards from France, Jean. 8) 8)

You did a superb job on your Rumpler Jean. I will definitely be buying at least one of these kits now that I've seen yours.

Cheers,

Chris

Jean,
Nice build. I have one also, and this gives me a good idea of what one should look like. Nice shading on the wings, and good cammo as well.

A beautifully finished model. The weathering is in my opinion, just right - most convincing. Very well done.

Just catching up after a Christmas Trip away. Lovely work, Jean, your detailing is excellent. One of these appeared under my Christmas tree so I'll be referring back to this Build for some guidance.
Cheers,
Lance
