That is some  nicely cast inside fuselage detail.

Thank you again  :D

Stephen, yes, ideally I’d do the whole thing in metal like Frank would do, but I just don’t have the means to make the small parts, any tips here welcome!

Yes, I think the Manchester looks fairly sleek and modern all round for the period, shame it didn’t get into service.

My masks arrived yesterday for the LVG and the Manchester  :D

I’m pressing ahead with this project, as I’m in full swing! Masks worked well, despite one area of lifted paint on a wing roundel (and primer!). I did wipe the parts down with a baby wipe, but it did trigger a memory of reading that resin needs to be soaked overnight in detergent? Any advice on this again from resin experts?

The kit didn’t come with any gun rings or guns, despite these being shown on the instructions. I don’t know whether they’re missing or were never intended? I might need advice on what to use for the rings (perhaps Frank can chip in  ;) ) the guns are easily enough sourced as Gaspatch do resin 1/72 guns.

That's lovely Guy.  Very handsome aircraft, and your finish is very fine indeed.  Nicely done.

Best regards,

Bob

Great work Guy!

I really like the finish you've got! Did you stick to Mr. Paint for your own PC10 as well? Good job on painting the markings. You seem to have nailed the inner bits on those serials!

Thanks Bob, Fredrik & Rick  ;D

Fredrik - yes, I’m currently using MRP to the exclusion of anything else. They spray beautifully, by far the best paint I’ve ever used for airbrushing.

Heading towards mounting the top wing, which I’ve been trying to avoid for as long as possible!

Wow! I'm always impressed by your speed!
Again a complex bird already painted and decaled, looks very nice!

For such heavy model you may need a metal gear? Put thin steel wire in Albion brass pipes (sizes depends on your model) pieces and squeeze it with a small vice.
I would at first experiment with short pieces in different sizes (the thickness you can calc: steel diameter + 2x0.1mm wall thickness).

Cheers,
Frank

Thanks Frank,

But the issue is the round ring which the wheel axle sits in. I just need a small metal ring to solder to a brass leg..

Wow this is being built at speed. Super finish especially the serial and cockades.

Stephen.

Fantastic progress Guy  :)

For the ring use what diameter you need out of brass rod , wrap this around the shank of a drill bit for the size needed . Cut off the tails and you have a small coil . Cut one side and you are left with brass rings .
