Try this link. The kit looks OK built up. IMHO it falls short of what I would have loved to have seen! The biggest let down to me was a Clerget Engine instead of an Obereusel/ LeRhone.

I think that the  Copper State engine can be use.
She is difficult to use in the Revell Fokker. Must many sand the hud but I don`t know if it will get in it at least.

Yes, that is correct. So the kit engine will work for Jacobs Aircraft. As stated in the thread that I linked there are other issues but one can certainly use Modeling skills to correct them.

The Serial number 450 become the clerget engine. The 470 later, first use the Oberursel.

a week ago I had a look into the box of both this Dr.1 and of the SE 5:
these kits did not impress me and I did not buy them even if they were reasonably priced (comparing the price with the prices on ebay)
They remembre me the old Aurora 1/18 scale models and probably are rough even if compared with the Revell 1/28 scale models.
They are something like the old Merit / Artiplast 1/50 models on steroids :-)

The latest issue of Windsock (v.32,n1) has a review of both the Dr-I and Se5, sadly both miss the mark for the really serious.  Guess their appeal will be size , as for price- $71 USD  compared to $79-89 USD for a WNW kit...   but then WNW are not available in shops...
