Given the terrible state of the world at the moment it's more crucial than ever for us to try and get through this global virus shutdown and to do so we need people with a positive and supportive attitude to all things.
So it's time to select another Forum member as a recipient of the Forum Rewards scheme and today I have chosen the wonderful Bob's Buckles for our thank you reward.
Bob is a national treasure and one of the most stalwart supporters of our Forum, he's also one of the most helpful and genial people around and his posts are always nicely delivered in a slightly whimsical way while at the same time being immensely helpful toward all members.
So to thank Von Buckles we are sending him a nifty LED head magnifier set with 5 interchangeable magnifier lenses.

These are surprisingly effective little head sets and the LED light really illuminates what you are working on.
Bob - my sincere thanks to you for your ongoing cheerful support of the Forum which means so much to me and the Forum members. You cheer us all up in our hours of need.
Warmest regards from a locked down Australia

Don't use those glasses on your motorbike, Bob.
The magnifying glasses distort the braking points... . ::)

Congrats Bob, well deserved. I got mine of Amazon but have since found an even better pair (imho). The ones I just got have a head band that tightens and does not have the nose piece which I found dug into my nose and hurt.

Thank you, James.
These gifted beauties will sit on my big konk without much trouble. I don't think my nose has nerve endings reaching out to the bridge...I think they gave up!

Hi Dave & Crew!
Dave, the magnifier (Plus wee paint stirrer :) ) turned up today! Thank you!!
The postman just left it propped up against my front door ::). Luckily for me, I live a mile from civilization. Anywhere else in North London and it would have been on eBay before I got home :-\
I was blind!!! But, now I can see!
One happy bloke.

Hi Bob
I'm delighted and relieved the Forum Rewards package managed to get through the postal system from Australia to Britain and find your front door! I hope the magnifier headset is of use. Mine is invaluable. As for the Forum paint stirrer, these are amazing little things which are ideal for stirring paint and applying putties etc. Every Forum Rewards recipient gets a paint stirrer too!
cheers

Hi Dave,
Who produces the weeee stirrers?
I gave the magnifier a spin last night and it works like a charm. Nice and crispy! Once again...Thank you DAVE!! ;)
As an aside and between making a mountain of eyelets, I have been tickling away at a Wingnut Pup. The pit is nearly there. I'm just waiting for the oil to dry on the seat belts and then I'll button her up. I love it when the fuselage comes together. It makes me wonder why bother with all that detail when you WON'T see a bleedin' thing. :o ::)
On we go...

Congrats on the well deserved award, Bob. Awesome work on that cockpit!

Thank you, Bill! Much appreciated ;)

Indeed congratulations Bob, I think the gift of sight is the only thing that exceeds the gift of time, both sorely lacking as we cruise through our years. And your Pup’pit (see what I did there ;) ) looks fantastic!
