the alc c.iii is a neat craft but i just like the pointy arrow like tail feathers and the way the fuselage terminates at the tail better on the b.1/b.II/C.1  the c.1 being my fav alb 2 seater, i even chopped up an old eduard c.iii to make it into a c.i.still much work to be done.

Hi,

i agree with Gregory and RAGIII, the Albatros B2 is a nice Model. But not for me this time. Maybe later.
I hope it comes a single seater around the corner. ;)
It would be nice for me to have a Sopwith, the Camel or if it´s not, the Snipe is also good for my showcase. :)

Have a nice weekend!

Jörg

and the funny side is that back in 2014 they knew (and someone knew ...) what they had in the pipes
if you look at the decals Sheet it is marked 2014...

Lol :)

As much as I like the B.II, I have to be really selective with those WnW kits... 2 kids and the cost of living don't leave a generous budget for modelling. :) Maybe Christmas next year!  ;D

I applaud Wingnut Wings for continuing to produce the "orphan" and unusual (in terms of popularity) WWi models. And, the wood decals too. Brilliant! More of these kinds of surprises, please. A Taube? Maybe even the grandfather of all WWI aircraft, the 1903 Wright Flyer?

One can hope.

Yes, Eindecker, I'm with you.

You can keep Camels and Triplanes - let other manufacturers do these. Don't waste WNW plastic on these Spitfires/Messerschmitts of WW1 - so boring!  ;)

I'm even having second thoughts about the WNW Fokker DVII kits I've bought now and might shift them out.

Cheers

eindecker, i know the albatros b.ii may seem "orphan" or "unusual" to you because there havent been very many kits produced for it. it was however very popular at the time and the fact remains that this craft was produced from 1914 to 1918 ,at first as a recon craft and later as a top notch trainer. it was one of the highest produced of its type with over 3500 produced during the war alone. it continued to be flown by other countries after the war and there are a few still around in museums.

Another type of question - Has anyone of the Alb. B.II buyers got an email from WNW yet, that the kit was sent?

No, Przemo, but I'm not concerned.  Only about half of my WNW orders were followed by a shipping notification, yet all of them arrived seven days after ordering.
Cheers,
Bud

Thanks Justin, George and Bud. I still have no news. However, in my case I have always got such an email for every single WNW kit ordered. So I am looking forward for this one, too. This lets me track the parcel.
