Oh yes, what a great build!
As I have the HD1 and the HD2 seaplane in stash I need to keep this thread as reference. That you for the build report!

Cheers,
Frank

Sorry I have failed to comment sooner! You have made terrific progress in spite of your struggles. The strut correction and sit of the floats looks Great.

Great work, Louis. So much accuracy on these small details, but that's what the model makes more precious for yourself.

This is stunning work, Louis. You take the time and trouble to fix those really small problems, but it looks so great when you perfect the look! Lovely work! Marc.

That's some great modelling going on here. Maybe the kit is fighting you but it seems you know how to deal with every challenge.

Thank you!

Hi !

Here it is, she is finally finished.

The shrouds are installed, some are double. A real pain to fix. Yet there are not that many ...

- All small parts have been added to the hoods.

The photoetched discs at the propeller hub and a piece of syringe to make the axis.
The propeller marks (Eclair) are punched out on scraps of decals.
The blade shielding is painted.

The vertical fixed plane (fin) only touches the fuselage at the front and rests on a rod at the rear. It is very fragile.
The serial number is fictitious. It is written in 0.1mm pen. H-D Eduard decals cannot be used because they are disproportionate. I cut them to be more or less the right size.

- The venturi tube is that of the kit. I just pierced it a little.

The transport cart uses the wheels of the Hanriot. The plank should be longer at the rear of the axle than at the front, probably to facilitate loading the plane. The "handles" are still missing.

it was a long and laborious assembly, once again.
I won't keep fond memories of it, yet it's not a bad Kit.

Regards

I have to say this is an excellent result.  I have this kit in a semi-built state, so I know what you were working with and the result is extraordinary.  Good job!

Magnificent model Louis! I really like this one; like all of your work the finish and detail are exceptional and it's of a quality you should be very proud of, well done Sir!

Thank you!!!

The arches behind the wheels were missing:
