Bristol F.2b Fighter ( Post war) WNW
« on: March 13, 2016, 09:46:40 PM »
Hello
Not the simplest of the wingnut but still a treat to assemble a kit of this brand!
The decor matches a device photographed at Aboukir Egypt 1926.
The weathering is performed with oils.

Beautifully done gruson, the shading/weathering is absolutely superb and the detailing the same. Your title photo looks like the real thing, you've done a magnificent job on this one!
Cheers,
Lance

Michel,
your model looks very professionally finished - picture perfect. I like the way you have made a plain scheme interesting with your artistic talent. Excellent weathering as always with your work.

Getting those inter-war aluminium/silver finishes is really difficult but you have not only done that you have a suitable worn effect too! I am lost for words to express my true feelings - wonderful will have to do!

Lovely Brisfit!

I think this is the first post war completed scheme I've seen.
