Love the woodwork Rick, are you going for the pale yellow woodwork on the Albie?
Cheers
Pete.
Pete,
Yes the pale yellow lookis what I am after. In the past I have tended to get my Albatros interiors darker than the exterior so I am attempting to be more careful on this one. As for the Snipe, the fuselage is Honey toned and the side frames a little more sienna toned.
I think the contrast will look nice and hopefully be representative of the original. (WNW calls for a darker wood on the frames).

Good grief, Rick...two at a time? You are a modelling machine, my friend.
I'd be in serious trouble if I tried that. End up with a Snipeatros or something
like that. Enjoying your build(s) twice as much. Heigh-ho!
Cheers,
Ernie
Thanks Ernie! As I said I am sure this will take twice as long but I owe my friend and US distributor for Aviattic a build using the 5 color joined Lozenge
Didn't want to delay it any longer. Glad you are enjoying the builds!

A dual build in 1/32 scale!? I tip my hat to you, Amigo! The closest I've ever come to that is my pair of 1/48 Halberstadts. And they're still not finished. However, I have confidence in you, my brother. I know you can do it. Your wood grain looks fantastic.
Cheers,
Bud
Thanks Amigo! I think I have this planned and under control but if history is any indicator, one will/ may take the lead over the other

Hello Rick:
I like that honey toned wood on the interiors for both models. You are a brave soul to do at once! As you say, takes twice as long; but you will have two outstanding models when you are done. Looking forward to seeing you progress through the builds.
Best
Mark
Thanks Mark,I appreciate your comments on the wood and your CONFIDENCE
