Hi all
Just signed up and thought I'd say hello. I have the pleasure of living on the Lancashire coast in the UK and have been building models for well over 30 years (though you'd never believe it from the poor quality work I turn out). I have very eclectic tastes - large scale trucks to 1/72 aircraft.

I've just bought my first biplane kit in a quarter of a century so it's time for me to learn about rigging (amongst a plethora of other new skills). So, I'll most likely stay in the background and learn...

Welcome to this wonderful forum, Brian. Good luck with the biplane. Which one is it?

You'll find lots of advice here about rigging. Don't be afraid to ask even what seem the most basic questions. We've all been there and you'll find many people here only too willing to help and encourage.

Hi all

Thanks for such a warm welcome. My first attempt will likely be the venerable Airfix Sopwith Pup. I don't know how far I'll go with detail yet but I definitely want to have a go at rigging (or possibly raging if it doesn't go to plan!)
