This Build continues at a snails pace, however I have made some headway despite the many interruptions.
The landing gear has been assembled, installed, and rigged:

I also added the Cooper Bomb Rack and sprayed/splattered castor oil to the undersides:

Next came the turtle deck and upper forward cowlings. The two previously broken cabanes and a third which followed during gear installation were drilled, pinned, and carefully installed using CA. The twin Vickers and the Aldis Sight followed:

As you can see in these shots the brackets from the firewall to the ring cowling have fallen victim to careless fumble fingers and will need replacing!

The prop is "posed" for this photo:

........ and last the cabanes were rigged using Modelkasten elastic thread:

Now it's time to finish up some oil and weathering to the forward fuselage and the installation of the upper wing can be started after some pre-rigging work.
Slow but steady will hopefully win this race!
Cheers,
Lance

Wow Lance, I can smell the castor oil from here, and the rest....   I am at a loss for words.

Completely agree with Juan - that is very realistic indeed and some very fine rigging on display here. It will be worth all of the effort when it is finished because that will be a mini-masterpiece.

Stephen.

Much appreciated Bud and Frank. I'm still doing little touch ups, painting and decaling the bay struts, and putting the wheels back on with pins this time. Don't even ask  how I managed that genius move!! :-X :-\

Toby and Boggie,
Many thanks for your comments. I noticed the repaired starboard Vickers just now, I'll be replacing that muzzle asap as it sticks out like the proverbial sore thumb!
Cheers,
Lance
