That's a very important and worthy project, Rick. When my first was born I put aside my 1:72 projects to build the Revell 1:28 Scale WWI Trio of DR.1, Spad, and Camel to be suspended from the Boy's ceilings over the years. They were unfortunately destroyed in a Break-in years later but the Boys still remember them. 8)
Cheers,
Lance

Funny you should mention those 1/28th kits as the Revelle Camel is my back up project in case I fail at my FIRST stick and Tissue effort  ::)

This is a great choice Rick, brings back many memories for me as well. I hope you do a build log of this model and post it on the forum, it will be very interesting to see how you tackle the project.

. . . Yes Chris I'm going to be there. Hotel booked, days off and now if I can get my eye situation straightened away I might even try to build something!!!!

Steve

Good show Steve! That makes six of us from this forum who will be meeting up at the show. It just gets better and better!

Cheers,

Chris

Sadly, no more kits for me, just a Italian pilot and a the big refuel thank from Aviattic (already ordered) that's all :(
Why?
My wife, a really lovely wife (even for the eye;- ), say no more, you have enough!
Don't know why, really, I do not know!
Here just a moment picture of my stash, is not that much?

Des, Thanks and I will be happy to do a build log. One question though. Should the Log be in the Off Topic section as it is not plastic?

Thanks Rick, I look forward to seeing to build, but the build log will be at home with all the other builds in the under construction board, no matter that it is balsa or plastic, it is still a WW1 aeroplane model.

Not WW1 but I just received the 1/12 MFH 1967 Ferrari 312 What a great kit! They are very expensive but worth every penny If you like 60's F1 cars this is a kit you need This will look great next to the Tamiya Lotus 49

Love those old formula one cars.
But round about £500, that's a lot of money.
But I realy like to see the build of that car.

The MFH 1:12 1967 Ferrari 312 is an amazing kit and one I have been eyeing off for a long time, but at $1000AUD puts it way out of reach.

Not much in the lines of anything new but I did pick up Tamiya's 1/32 scale spitfire and GWH Douglas TBD-1A Floatplane .

That's a really nice version of the Spitfire from what I've seen, Terri. :)
