Because of the long breaks I was able to find this thread today.
Went back to the start and spent an enjoyable time reading about your phantastic
mind blowing project.
Now I go on to your Albatros...

Best whishes Joachim

Many thanks for your generous comments, gentlemen, they are highly appreciated!

I finished the detailing around the cockpit (windshield, Aldis sight, petrol pump propeller) and the struts are in place, so it looks like rigging time is about to start. :)

Sorry for the photo quality, my cell phone obviously has troubles with focusing on the combination of the gloss cowling and semi gloss wooden panels and PC10 canvas.

Cheers.

Many thanks for your generous comments, gentlemen, they have been a great encouragement to me!

My little Camel is almost finished, just a few touch ups with oil paints and flat coat are left.

I am not 100 % satisfied with the result, since I obviously stretched the rigging monofilament too much and lower wings got slightly warped.

Nevertheless, I am happy to have her and could not resist to see what she looks like next to her siblings in the display case. :)

Cheers.

Wow! Wing warp or not, that is still seriously impressive and looks incredible! Well done!

Wonderful results. I'm sure it's bigger in the pictures than in reality. Stunning modelling.

You can really see the benefits of 1/144 when you see the space in your cabinet - wish my eyes could let me contemplate the challenge - but I'll happily leave it to you.

Outstanding work!

Although it's tiny, and I would surely struggle to work in it, it's the fact that it's all scratch built and so precise that really gets me...
