Thank you all for your nice words!
I can almost smell the burnt castor oil.
Kevin, the smell of the oil paints on my bench is a bit different.
Would using the correct smell put model making on a new level?
I can think of No One that paints and details rotary engines better than you Frank!
Rick, what a compliment! Now I have to ask Dave W to add a red face smiley to the editor, because I have one now.
Beautiful work Frank, those Small Stuff engines are exquisite items.
Oh yes Dave! I only have the strong wish to get the Gnome N and the Bentley B.R.2 added to the line. I asked already and he do not refuse the idea, so I have some hope. For now I have enough kits to build using types which are available.
Vrooom! But in my head aircraft engines don't really make that kind of sound...
Fredrik, I can really confirm that the engine is not running.
Not yet.
Gorgeous streaking and engine, Frank.
Giuseppe, I hope I'm able to replicate this on the fuselage, but for that I have to do the cockpit first.
I have a soft spot for these lesser known types and can't wait to see it finished.
Sandy, even though this type is rare, I can't believe that this is the first build of this type in the forum!
If only Small Stuff made big stuff...
Ken, for Eugeny it
is big stuff, since he is addicted to 1/72. That's why those engine are available in 1/72 too (if I remeber right at first in this scale).
Cheers,
Frank
