You're making great progress Rick and it won't be long before I'm in your slipstream. She's turning into a real beauty!

Cheers,

Chris

Outstanding job on the cockpit, Rick.  The lap belts look great.  Not too large.
Cheers,
Bud

Thanks Bud, It seems that WNW has a standard lap belt for all of their British kits. To me they look overlarge. As for the painting of the belts they are the simplest I have ever done. A Valejo beige and Citadel Brown color. I will get the specific colors later or tomorrow.

I have glued the fuselage halves together as of this morning. I must say that I haven't had to sand and modify that much to get a good fuselage to wing fit. Side panels are installed and I am ready for the next step, Pre painting a few things to lessen the degree of masking on the struts and cockpit before installing the coaming.
Pictures later tonight.

Took a couple of days longer than expected. The color you will see is my final mix of Humbrol X10 and #186. I have brush painted around the areas I do not relish masking, the section immediately under the coaiming and the coaming itself. This will allow me to airbrush without masking around the struts.Sorry the pics are little dark.

PS: coaming is just sitting in place, not glued yet !

Nice work. The PC10 is looking good - bit brown, bit green - just as the debate has always been!!!

That's looking very nice, Rags.  I like the H 10 + H 186 mix, mate.  I was looking at following the instructions and using H 98, but the last couple of tins I bought lacked depth of colour and had a real greyish tint, whereas your mix looks very good.

Cheers.

Nice to see her all buttoned up Rick. Your coaming fits like a glove.
