Nice kits, worth to wait for. (But two months is long, very long!)

Thanks guys! The kits made it 9/10 of the way here on their first trip then went back to New Zealand. The second time it only took about 8 days.

Very nice Eric, does this mean that we can expect to see some "big" things coming off your work bench soon  ;) ;)

This is my latest purchase, the book landed today and yes, you have probably guessed it, this is my next scratch build.

Hi Des, I jut got the same booklet a few days ago, I purchased the Sikorsky S-XVI kit by Eastern Express.
I think it's a great source of information, packed with photos and drawings.
I will be very interested in following your scratch build!
Ciao

Hi Des,  I wish I could say it would be soon but there are a couple projects for Airfix Model World I'm committed to before I start one of the 'big" things.  I will say that one of said projects does involve a WNW kit but is not one of the Big Three.   :)

I look forward to watching your Sikorsky project unfold.

Cheers,
Eric

In record time I just received my AEG G.IV from Australia! Kidding.. New Zealand! ;D

I ordered it on Saturday the 18th and it was waiting on my desk at work this morning, which means it arrived on Friday! 6 days from NZ to USA! How do they do it?

Squiffy that Black Fokker Leader is an excellent read. I quite enjoyed it.

I had some more stuff arrive. My decals for all my Albies and Pups.

My first posted acquisition is tenuous at best for this forum: a Novo Vickers Vimy, to be completed as the 1994 replica in its G-EAOU scheme complete with sponsors' decals!

Here is a rarity from Scott, glad I was able to get a rare Legato kit of the Aviatic Berg 30.24 triplane! If only I could find the Lloyd with wooden gun turret in front of the pilot, that is another must have rarer than hen's teeth!
