Do you have pictures of this tool in action for a dummie Dummie? Your props are outstanding.

The undercarriage looks very good - I had to check that this is 1/48 scale as it looks so much larger in the photos. I really like the prop painting jig - I am looking forward to seeing how that works.

Since I received the Maxima Chameleon line...no more excuses to postpone the rigging.  :-X

Rigging is a major fear factor to me....my eyes just stop focussing after 10 minutes or so.
I need time in between every step, so this will take a while.

But on my way. :)

I like the red brown colour of the line...at least it's visible.
It goes well through the BvB eyelets and tubes. Deburring the tubes with a 0,3 mm drill bit is a must.

So far, so good... ::)

More soon, but not rushing.

Thanks!

So far...still...so good.  :)

Just a few minor setbacks. Had to replace an eyelet and redo one cable, because it slipped.
Four more plus control surface cables to do.

More soon,

Robin  :)

Rigging is nicely done!
It looks like you're finishing our Mini 48 Albatros Group build earlier than me?

Cheers,
Frank

A very silent PS: on top of the front there is a seam line? ::)

Thanks guys. :)

Frank...it's not a race, besides...you put so much amazing extra effort in your build. No wonder I catch up.

This said...I'm pretty proud of my effort. It's the first WWI model (with rigging) I bring to a good end after 2 disastrous tries... years ago.
An Albatros D.III and D.V never made it this far and it took me 5 years to give it another try.
Now it feels good to be back here. :)

Not ready yet....but...almost!

More soon,

Robin  :)

Thanks gentlemen,

Finished!

I enjoyed the build. The wood with oils was new to me and I was amazed how easy that was.
Even the rigging went fairly well and it was almost enjoyable....almost.  ;D
May sound silly, but just finishing this feels like I've slain a dragon. Far from perfect, but I learned a lot, so hopefully a little bit better the next one.

I'll now finish the D.VII and already made up my mind about the next one.
That will be the 1/48 Roland C.II, also from Eduard.

Thanks again,

Robin

Great job! Isn't it fun learning new techniques?! Especially when they turn out this well! Looking forward to your next build!
