Holy Cow, Antonio!  How do you keep all those suckers straight!  Really colorful machines.  Love them all!

Beautiful  work here, I especially like Coppens' airplane as I would love to do his all blue machine in 1:72...

Thanks Ian, I love the blue devil as well, but I was not able to find a solution to reproduce the white motto "Nemo me impune lacessit" on the turtledeck behind the pilot's head.

Ciao

Hallo everybody,
although immersed in the intrusive haze of this awful season I went a  bit on withthe rigging schema.

As known the rigging of this plane is not that complicated:

The first couple of cables starts from the upper wing

in a point near by the leading edge on the upper wing I made a hole where I will set and glue one head of this control cable.
Then the line will go through the control horn on the aileron, go through the hole in the aileron reinforced as in the real plane by a curved patch.
Then the cable will pass on the lower surface and will be angled by an eyelet fixed beneath the aileron.
The real thing was an L shaped piece (as I tried to draw below the main sketch) but after many tries I decided that was too small a piece to work and decided to go with the eyelet to the delight of my friend Von Buckle!!!
:-)

This sketch shows the whole rigging needed on each side.
The green line is the control cable coming from the top wing. To keep it sgraight I need to let it pass through a passing hole I already drilled in the bottom wing (marked C), Glue it with CA and trim the excess part from below the wing, then fill the hole from below.
The main lines here are depicted in blue and red, they will start off the twin buckles I prepared in a former phase to be glued in the fuselage as shown:

Slightly larger eyelets will be placed in be points (A / A') to let both the cables go through together.
The inner lines (X) will go to points (B -> D) and (B' -> D') ending their path near the cabane outer struts.
The outer lines (Y) will stop on (A / A') glued and trimmed after the X line has been glued.

This drawing better explains what I have in mind.

Here is shown the only line I will put on the tail planes passing through the fin and the fixed horizontal tail planes, finally glued where the skid will insist.

Then there will be the carriage rigging, the control cables on the rudder have been shown in an earlier phase.

At the moment I have fixed the eyelets to the bottom wing and glued the bottom wing to the fuselage on the three planes.

Ciao and thanks for your attention.

Thanks Bud, glad you like them.
I had a lot of troubles to fix the control cables to the rudder, but in the end I made it although with some mistakes.
