Here's my new order of nuts, bolts and washers from Scale Hardware. The service is amazing. I ordered 3 days ago, and here they are:

Here's the smallest nuts at 0.5mm

And for size comparison with my little helper flea:

Wish me luck in not loosing these to the carpet monster.

Bertl,

It looks like you're in for the two GBs. I can't wait to see what you accomplish.

George.

PS. My flea is well trained, and I pay him well. He is a loyal mechanic.

James, thanks for the post about The Air Defence of Britain 1914-1918, I've added it to my Amazon wish list.

Good finds on the accessories and kits everybody!

I recently got a generous deal on approximately 100 1/72nd scale kits from a fellow forum member that was cleaning out his stash. That was my birthday present to myself. Forum member rolanddvi is a great guy!

I'll post pics of the birthday presents I got from SWMBO this last week.

Looks like this end of Kentucky is in for 8" to 12" of snow tonight (for us that's a good bit), so I better get that workbench in order.  ;)

I got the following from SWMBO for my birthday a couple of days ago:

Volumes 4 & 5 of The Blue Max Airmen.  Now, hopefully a couple of more will be published before my next birthday.

A bottle of Calvados:

We're supposed to get anywhere from 8" to 12" of snow in the next twenty-four hours. A fine cigar, the Calvados, my books, and newly cleaned hobby room await.

A belated but sincere Happy Birthday, Warren! Nice "haul", and a man after my own heart, I can still enjoy a dram or two but unfortunately the Doctors have told me I will "have no more cigars forever"! Damn you (jealousy speaks) but I'll savour the cheroot vicariously! Enjoy, I'm sure you've earned it!
Cheers, :-\

Merci Naimbs!  8) ;)

And a big thanks to you too Lance! Truth be told, I should have quit long ago, but I'll play with the devil's weed a bit longer. I'll definitely have one tonight when I break open that bottle of Calvados, might be the last good night to enjoy it since the lows are soon to be below zero in a couple of days.  :P :-\

It's all relative Warren. It was 7 Degrees below Zero Centigrade tonight (19 Degrees Fahrenheit), so warm for here in January I barbequed! Been one crazy Winter all over, hope your snow and cold excursion doesn't get real bad, and enjoy the "elixir"!
Cheers,
Lance

Bo, I think you may need to get some practice building Albatros kits before you start these two  ;) ;) :) :)
