My other half's latest work contract is extended by around a month, so I can justify a few purchases :)  I need more EZ Line and one of the places to buy it is from WNW directly, therefore logic says I should get some kits too.  I always wanted another Pup and I have some of the Abatros decal sheets.  Despite there being some great new releases in the last 2 years that are not yet in my stash, I think I'll go for the RNAS Pup and DV.  Hopefully avoiding the customs and delivery charges in the UK!

Me too, hence the purchase now.  I built the RFC Pup as my first ever WNW kit, and recently the Tripe so I would like the complete set.  Off to the WNW site later today...

Those will fill a few idle hours... Now, about those alleged turnbuckles on the aileron control cables. I've peered closely at all of the Wingnut Wings period reference photos and, truthfully, can't see any, much as I try. I suspect they aren't in the open, if they exist, and I don't see how they wouldn't have accommodated some adjustments in the cables. Maybe inside the wings or at the control column?

If you get a chance...

Thanks,

Well, I'm trying to buy the Nieuports in RNAS, RFC etc etc Service pdf from the Cross and Cockade website, but I'm having a devil of a time registering.

Not surprising. Each manufacturer had their own ideas of what would be best. That is one of the interesting things about a search for "accuracy". There is often more than one standard for comparison. One of the things that drove me away from other forums (forii?) was the too frequent flame wars over "accuracy". I'm more than willing to admit both the tenuous nature of "standards" and the lack of my ability and desire to reproduce such in one of my models. Given that, it is good to know what was originally intended by the designers of the prototypes.

I'll be interested in seeing these being used!
