Looking good.  The complete fuselage (Including cowl) being in two halves didn't present any problems?

Plastic on the fuse look very thick though...

Cheers,

Hugh

Hi Hugh, it is thick but didn’t cause any issues - it doesn’t show. And no problems going together.

Alexis, I do sleep occasionally, but tbh, I’m not spending long on this, there’s not a huge amount to the kit...

Although I have started painting! Just primer on with a bit of pre shading.

The pre shading looks good. It should give excellent results after the main color is applied!

Hugh, it may look thick, because the bird is really really small! One my think it is 1/72.

Looks really great, Guy!
Makes one want to build one too, but then again so do almost all builds on the forum right now... In an hour or so there will be a letter on its way.

Nice start and fast build. I built one of these from the old issue, it's a nice kit and can make a really good model.

Where did this appear from. Are you related to Rick? I miss a couple of days and there is a near completed model...... The seat belts and cockpit details look good - and the engine is super. I have my fingers crossed that this one will reach the finish line without undue problems, and at the rate you are moving that will not be long.

Stephen.

Thanks all!  ;)

I’m praying I get this one finished too Stephen, otherwise it’s back to knitting or crochet  :P

Thanks, but... (my builds always seem to have a ‘but’  ??? )

It was all looking dandy, then I got to a point where it started to look a bit dog eared - I can’t really figure out why, but anyway, I suddenly decided I needed to respray the whole thing, which I did. I prefer the new look, but I’ve done an awful lot of masking for such a small aircraft!

Not sure about the oil splatter effect, but I think the real ones looked a lot worse!

The wings don’t have massive attachment points, what would your preference be for type of glue here?

Just waiting on my letter from Fredrik for the insignia...
