A bit O/T, but I have released three sets of parts for the much-maligned (imo somewhat unfairly) Italeri Macchi C.202.
Probably the most egregious fault of the kit is the spinner, which appears to have been modeled after the specimen in the Italian Air Force Museum -- which, unfortunately, is completely bogus, being a highly modified C.205 Veltro unit:

The kit control surfaces are ... just bad. The "rib tape" detail is way overdone, the starving cow effect is strong, and small details like the drain holes / grommets are awol.

Finally, the wheels and especially the tires lack detail and convincing load bulges.

Released 11/27/23 -- four part tropical dust filter for the Macchi C.202 in 1/32. Separate fins (like the original) allow the visible filter element to be painted by the modeler...

...another one to acquire. That kit can be turned into a BMF!!

The filter and all the other accessories look excellent.
Each of these parts is a way towards even more originality.
I'm looking forward to the wing radiator for the Wingnut LVG, Bo. 8)

As a footnote, the latest Model Airplane International has a build of the kit

Thanks Bertl. Rest assured the LVG Radiator is in the queue. I have a few more Macchi parts to design, then some Spitfire things, before I again turn my attention to WWI subjects. Unfortunately I can't do everything at once! The more popular subjects make it possible to sustain the obscure items...

All good Bo ;)
I'm pleased that you're going to make the LVG radiator at all ;D
I am well aware that the demand for WK2 accessories is much higher.
Do you need the original wingnut sprues to measure? - I could send them to you.
And sorry for the off-topic post from me.

Bravo Bo, these parts really elevate the base kit. Well done on your excellent work!

Nope -- I have the WNW kit as well as some extras to use for reference. I have a few more items my Patreon subscribers have been clamoring for (hint :) ) in the queue ahead of the LVG radiator, but it IS in the queue. 2024.

Thanks Zac!
Not sure if I mentioned this already, but if you are a fan of Macchi aircraft from any era (including WWI and prior), we have started a Facebook group for enthusiasts and modelers. Search for "Wacky Macchis." Hopefully simple enough entry questions to exclude bots and trolls. If you can't find it, DM me here.

I made it in, so take that as you may ;D

:-D Haha -- and a hearty welcome, mate!

The Italeri kit's oil cooler is attached to the lower cowling, when in reality it was suspended from the rocker covers of the DB 601/ RA 1000 powerplant.
Does this matter? Probably not, but my approach to modeling is to trace the hand of the original, and thus this bothers me.

In development is a replacement oil cooler along with an optional lower cowling panel.

This is outstanding attention to detail Bo and I love to see it. Judging by how highly anticipated this kit was I expect you'll have a few folk lined up for all your sets. More power to you!

Thanks Zac! Yes indeed, the Macchi stuff has turned out to be astonishingly popular. Way beyond what I expected...

That lower panel looks like a huge upgrade let alone the oil cooler itself! I'd like to acquire this but do you anticipate any other upgrades in the near future so I can combine?

Hey Steve -- yeah -- thus far unannounced (except in the Wacky Macchis FB group) -- gun cover panels and framework. Very near production status I think. Will probably release these items at the same time, depending on how tests go. Lower cowling is on version 12(!), with test print going in the soup tonight.
