The Dornier is looking great Rick, looks like you ate having a lot of fun with this BOB project.

The Hasegawa Hurricane looks interesting. Since reading Larry Forrester's Fly For Your Life some 50 years ago, Bob Stanford Tuck has been a big hero of mine. I'm particularly looking forward to seeing you tackle his Hurricane. If you haven't read the book I highly recommend it.

Thanks Richie! I think one more session on the Do 17 will do it for now. I can't really totally finish it without a replacement for the clear part E5! The Hasegawa Hurri is fairly good although I think Arma would be the Best Bet for Details. They Make one that comes with the whole package including canopy masks. I haven't read that book but as I have the Aeromaster Markings also I probably will do that scheme.

Thanks Warren! I am beginning to think My only way forward would be buying a second kit and hoping I can find someone in the States to vac form it for Me. Then at least I wouldn't be wasting a second kit!

Falcon does  canopy set #9. It's for the Frog kit but may fit. At least you will have some other canopies for other types. Hannants has it for the equivalent of about $15US plus shipping - still less than a second kit.

Looking very good Rick. Best of luck with the canopy - that must be very frustrating not being able to finish the model.

Thanks for the info Steve. Squadron also has/ had one individually for the Revell kit. I thought I had one of those lined up but that fell through.

Thanks Zac! I think I am going to close this thread and start one for the Suka and another project...soon.

Thanks Stephen. It is a bit frustrating, but I will hopefully sort it out eventually. That being said these are the last photos for Now. As finished as it can be:

Great results! BTW, in case you didn't see the message I sent, I received the Phantom kit and decals in perfect condition. Thank you.

Ignoring the canopy I can honestly say I have never seen a better finished example of this type. I would have been over the moon if I had made one so fine!

The Happy Ending for the Do17z. After about a month and a half I sent another E Mail to Airfix Spares . Two answers saying they didn't have the part then a third saying it was shipped  on  March 3rd . It arrived two days ago and the Model is now officially finished:

Glad to hear that Rick.

I think you have done a magnificent job on both models!
