Nice Frank!
Did you add that or did it come with it?
I quite like the look of this? A retail unit.
What do you think?

The seals were already installed.
Yours looks good, but keep an eye on small differences. I looked around some years ago for it and found many different companies. I was limited by depth on my location to 25cm, but more would be better. With 30 or even 40cm you will also be able to put WNW models in.
I noticed, that some differences are regarding back plate. If it is made from wood, it takes space.
Also the front doors. You will find often sliding doors, which again take some cm from the space for the models.
Your selected one has also sliding doors, see "Additional information".
On example here, they produce those after ordering and can do different sizes:

With sliding doors it is cheaper:

They look good Frank.
What depth are your shelves? I don’t intend to put any 1/32 in - just 1/48. The one I posted doesn’t show the internal dimensions (bizarrely) but a guess around 23cm?

Yes, I measured 22,7cm from metal back to the doors. Outside it is 25.
The glass board are not that deep, there are gaps to the back and to the front.

Gary
I promised some pictures of my display unit and the seals that I use on the doors. They are as follows:
[
This is the full cabinet - it is a display cabinet for ornaments, figures or models of course. It has glass shelves which I have covered with green beige. I also added LED lights for interior lighting - there is a hole in the rear to allow a lead to be inserted. It is self -assembly and the doors are hinged with a small gap so I have filled the gap with a shower seal:
I slot the groove over a door edge and the flap sits inside the other door making a dust proof seal. Simple but effective and because the doors are hinged the full 8 inch depth of the shelf is free. I am contemplating putting a 1/32 scale model in there one day - length of fuselage is the critical dimension, so many 1/48 scale aircraft would easily fit. The model on the top shelf is the SSW Rs 1 which is large for 1/72 scale.
Stephen.

Well....
Move completed last Friday, all a bit fraught frankly!
But finally getting settled in. Got the garage sorted and my new cave taking shape! That said, I have to decorate the entire house before I’m going to get any modelling in
I’m also going to have to sort out some kind of spray booth/ extractor as it’s windowless. I don’t want a plastic ‘hobby’ one. Any suggestions?
