Hi all,
this time I will publish my realtime WiP. The victim is WnW Pfalz D.XII. I plan to build Jasta77 marking from box because I like early style rudder.
I plan to use some bits from Taurus, LF propeller, Gaspatch turnbuckles and anemometer, Barracuda intake manifold, HGW seatbelts and Aviattic lozenge. As before, I plan to use GSI and Drooling bulldog paints and oil paints and Ammo potions for weathering :)
Feel free to comment anything, hints and citicism is welcomed here ;)

First some attempts with wooden floor to cockpit using RB photoetched template. Second picture is basic engine bulkheads prepared.
-
The wood grain floor looks terrific! I like the worn look. Engine compartment looks properly weathered.

Thanks!
Cockpit almost ready, dials were covered by HPH epoxy to simulate glass, monofilament used for control cables.
HGW seatbelts, seat itself was painted and weathered using oil paints.

Hi Martin - you are making wonderful progress on your Pfalz. Beautiful painting and detailing on that cockpit. One of the nicest WnW models in my opinion.
Cheers,

Very nice work on that cockpit.

Thanks guys!
Engine almost ready, just add throttle connection, but this will be added after engine will be fixed to fuselage.
-
That engine looks so real it could be ready to start at any moment!

What a lovely engine and cockpit, Martin! Some great progress here... you have a masterly touch, it just looks so good! Marc.

Thanks!
I didn't like the scratches on front side, I reworked it.
Then I scratched throttle bar and some pipings from cooler to fuselage. Flashguards were added too.
-
It looks great so far.
I really like those subtile scratches on the cowling, and the engine is really superb.
...can’t wait to see more :)
-
Old scratches good, new scratches better! But that engine is looking great!

Beautiful work on a particularly beautiful aircraft. That silvery blue colour looks gorgeous and like everybody else has said the gentle weathering is a real eye catcher.
