Hello, from Sydney, Australia!
« on: March 27, 2016, 08:39:04 AM »
Hi all,

I have already posted one question in the forums, but just noticed this section, so thought I better post an introduction.

My name is Jeff, and I am from Sydney, Australia. My modelling interests are mainly aircraft and figures, the aircraft being mainly modern jets and some WW2 subjects as well.I never thought I would ever model aircraft from WW1, but all that changed when Wingnut Wings hit the scene.

Although I have only done one so far, an Albatros DV, which I was very pleased with the way it turned out, I absolutetly love these subjects and have just started work on the Fe.2b.I may be out of my depth with this one, but I have been very stale latetly and I needed a real challenge, and have lost just about all interest in modern jets.

Anyway, I look forward to seeing all the brilliant work on here and learning something new all the time!

Cheer's,
Jeff.

Welcome aboard, Jeff!  So glad you found your way to the light!
I absolutetly love these subjects.... but I have been very stale latetly and I needed a real challenge, and have lost just about all interest in modern jets.
Same thing happened to me about 7 years ago and I haven't looked back.  These old stringbags have a very special charm.
I look forward to seeing your Albatros and your Fee.
Cheers,
Bud

Welcome, Jeff! Yes, these wonderful aeroplanes do tend to take the
shine off the jets, so to speak.  I would love to see pictures of your D.V.
 Good to have you aboard!

Cheers,
Ernie :)

Welcome to the Forum Jeff. You'll quickly discover that the attraction of "stringbags" can become obsessive, but you are in like company! I'm labouring away at an FE.2b as well, looking forward to seeing your Builds here.
Cheers,
Lance
