Some impresions about our journey,
Sunday were we in the Tank Museum in Bovington.
Tuesday visited we the National Motor Museum in Beaulieu.
Today looked we to the city and cathedral with Magna Carta in Salisbury. after there we drived to Stonehenge.

This all sounds wonderful, Martin! I agree with Bud...that's a trip my wife and I would really like to make.

I wish you continued enjoyment!

Cheers from NYC,
Michael

Are you planning on coming to the Cotswolds? I am in Cirencester (capital of the Cotswolds and the lots of Roman history) so can always met up and say hello.

Sorry Andy,
we are now in the Blackdown Hills near Honiton In Devon. That for the next seven days.
From there we drive to Schottland and later back to London.

Brace yourself Martin, the North of Scotland was my last journey and I could easily have stayed forever! It's beautiful, you'll both love it!
Enjoy,
Lance

Hi Lance,
1996 we go around North Scottland with the coast road.  Now we want to see Edinburg, middle and south Scottland.

Glad you got there, Martin. I thoroughly enjoyed it when I went some years ago. Sadly I took no photos, so I'll look forward to seeing yours.

Best wishes
Nigel

G'day, Martin.

Michelle and I just have just returned from the UK ourselves.  We spent our time in north Wales and Michelle was really upset about having to leave.  If Michelle did move there there she would soon change her mind, though, the first time the temperature dropped below 10°C! ;D

The A55 is a brilliant road and it will get you along the north coast to Caernarfon, in just three or four hours (even if you stick to the 70mph speed limit- which most drivers don't!).  The people are really friendly, the scenery is beautiful and there's plenty of great places to eat (eg Two the Square and  The Olde White House hotel at Conwy or the Black Boy Inn in Caernarfon).

If you have a spare day on your trip to Scotland, you seeing Conwy and Bodnant Garden would be well worth your time- and get you some credit with the missus.

Cheers.

Dal.

Hi Dal
In1996 my family and I live for about seven month in Pembrock. We drove very miles to see a lot of Wales.
Now we want see other landscapes, that we don't saw at that time.

Lucky man, Martin!  I wouldn't mind being able to spend a few months in Wales (or anywhere in Europe_- especially if I got a few days in the STAM in Ghent, BAM Ingolstadt, HGM Wien, Duxford, etc.

Cheers.

Dal.
