I have progressed on the Pfalz interior while I was waiting for the oils to dry on the Albatros. Most of the interior is complete. I just lack a couple of items and the inevitable touch up. Control wires are stretched sprue with white glue turnbuckles. I am approaching the point where I will make My decision on red vs black for the fuselage color  :-\

What did you use to dirty up the belts?

Nice interior BTW.

Funny thing Ryan, I did Nothing to weather the belts yet! I was looking for something that would adhere to PE so pre painted the belts with Floquil Italian Sand Brown. Then overpainted with Valejo Ivory white. I think the natural shadows and editing are giving a bit of contrast to the photos. I will weather the belts soon and I hope the results look as good  ::)

Then I have been fooled twice, I thought they were HGW units.

Well I will certainly take that as a "compliment"  ;D What I did with the belts prior to painting was anneal the Hell out of them then crumple them up. Made them very pliable and look better than normal...for me at least  8)

Rick, you made a good progress already in nice quality!
I do not know the WNW Pfalz, but my red Eduard Pfalz and the Triplane conversion were big fun!
So a red one would be nice  ;)

Cheers,
Frank

That interior looks realistically used!
So the belts are just PE from the kit?
