I just got a set of those, too, Bo.  They are truly mind blowing.  Now that I've seen how good they are, I'll be ordering a few more sets.
Cheers,
Bud

Today comes my Eduard Siemens-Schuckert D III with engine, belts and MG. The Brassin engine is better than the kit part.

Wow, what a monster! The bike's nice though... Is the serrated thing on the front for dealing with errant pedestrians? looks scary.

Coming To Telford this year? Will stand you a beer if so.

Very cool! If I can make it to the IOMTT in the near future, the first Guiness is on me.

No show for me this year, Rowan. One must attend a stag party over the weekend of the nationals.  :-[ Put the beer on hold, old bean.

Just got a new book from Aeronaut Books, a large volume similar to the Belgium book or the earlier Flying Machines books.  After a quick flip through there are plenty of rare experimental types shown as well as the classics built by Curtiss, Thomas-Morse, Dayton-Wright, and all types used by the Americans built in France, Britain and Italy.  Lots of color profiles, only thing that is lacking in my opinion is there are no scale drawings.

Got hold of this 1/32 Roden Spad VII from Ebay - the price was too good to resist - 30 quid with postage from Poland.   Received in under a week as well.

Hopefully, I'll get this one together (my last last Spad ended in disaster) in one piece!

Regards

Dave
