My latest haul.....

Catching up on my reference material and the 1/72 Small Stuff engines are absolutely incredible! I'd love to have engines of this quality in 1/48.

I'm realizing I really have to sort out my 1/72, 1/48 and 1/32 into separate containers to make things a little easier on myself.

Just added a Sopwith Snipe Early to my every-growing pile of Wingnut kits.   :)

Hello All

Just lately I've been buying some recent French language publications. A bit later today, all being well, I'll make some comments on them in the What's interesting to read board.  One of them came as something of a surprising disappointment. More on that in due course.

Apparently the delivery note for my WNW RNAS Pup and Albie DV arrived at home today.  This means I'll have to pay the tax and "release" charge for delivery. Sometimes the parcel just gets delivered, sometimes not.  Oh well, at least I'll have the kits in a few days..

You'd better pull out all of the stops Steve if you plan on displaying it at Ajax at the end of October. You can do it!

Cheers,

Chris

I was lucky today and get my hands on Edwards Sieben Schwaben and an albatross, including one set of Master Spandau.

You were very fortunate indeed, Des!  In the US the LVGs have been going for just under $200 or more on eBay with one recently hitting $338 plus shipping!   :o

Just purchased twenty 1/72 Roden kits from a gentleman moving upscale. Many of them are Fokker DVIIs, so the joke may be on me.

Just got these from a trade for 1/48th stuff. WS SE5a Squadrons, Archer Resin Tape and Stitching, Archer WW1 Stitching, Part PE for the Roden Albatros DIII OAW, And Part PE for the Hobbycraft/Academy Sopwith Camel. Oh and finally a bottle of Misterkit Jasta 10 Yellow. ( Now hopefully I can touch up the Loewenhardt DVII  8) )

PS: The big one was off topic 1/32nd HK Gloster Meteor F4.

I think I saw this one on Hyperscale. I don't build 1/72nd but it still was tempting  ::)
