These arrived about two-and-a-half weeks ago.  I got the OAW Albie for the top wing, with the offset radiator, so I can build the Scheme A Albie D.III from FCM's 32014 (Jasta 5) set.  The D.III wing, with centred radiator, will go to the OAW- and I'll try to find a colour scheme for it.

The Dr.1 replaces my AWoL Encore kit, which is probably at the bottom of one of the boxes I haven't unpacked.

Cheers.

Dal.

I finally picked up a copy of "Schlachtfleiger!" Sweet now where's the WnW Halbie C.II with figures please!
I have been bad by straying into AFV land and my love of all things Ta152H or C variants. I shall repent.

I'm right there with you on all counts Steve!  However, just to be contrary I will decline to repent! ;D  Still like the low-wing metal monoplanes too. ;)  Dittos on Schlactflieger and a WNW Halbie C.II. ;D

Bob

All,

Just received my birthday present from my wife today through the post -

Wingnut Wings Sopwith Snipe late version - lucky me!

Tough decision now as now not sure whether to start this or the WNW SE5a .................

Got my Sopwith Snipe (Early) a few days back, and have pre-ordered the Pheon Sheet with William Barker's markings for it. Now, if I ever finish the McKeever "Bif" it'll be a toss up; Collies' Tripe or Barkers' Snipe, guess you could rightfully label me a Proud Canadian! Are we fortunate in having so many great "Kits and Bits" available recently or what!?
I see another huddle coming shortly with the other two model musketeer's, Chris and Gary, to determine our next move!
Cheers,
Lance :) ;) ::)

I just ordered a Waldron punch and die set from Hannants here in the UK.  Expensive, but very handy for whenever I need to cut tiny circles - especially where the instruments are printed on an acetate sheet.

I also have some 0.1mm acetate sheets supposedly for printing on - I was thinking of cutting circles of this material to make proper covers for instruments.  My last build (Eduard Weekend N-17) did not have instruments, but had the decals, had I had this punch set I could have stamped out some basic instrument shapes from plasticard.

No hurry Lance. You and Gary take all the time you need and I'll keep busy with other stuff.

Chris
You can have it good; You can have it fast; you can have it cheap. Pick any two, but all three are impossible.

Thanks Chris, right now I'm taking all the time both of us (and half a dozen other modellers) need to work on the Bif.

This arrived today, within 48 hours of ordering.  I had a trial punching out a couple of 2mm circles in thin card - works perfectly.
