Great choice Rick, pretty well my favorite of the series. I hope the Mrs. lets you borrow it occasionally! ;D ;D

Thanks Guys! The book is very well done as I had expected. The reason I waited so long was that I already owned HITEB. I have found two advantages so far in having this one also. First the Text is limited to the basics from the Sq. History and combat reports so I see much less searching involved vs. HITEB when looking for particulars. Second is the numerous profiles. Alex is an outstanding Author. As for the wife, yes I ordered her book, a Fantasy Novel by Terry Goodkind, the last of a series.

I've gone a bit mad of late. WNW Ninak DH9 and Pfalz.  Lots of 1/48 kits including a Roden Dayton Wright DH4, a Revell Brisfit and the rest are all The following Eduard kits  Dr1.Brisfit, their Dual combo Dv11 which Hannants are doing as a special offer at less that half price, a couple of Spads, SSW111 and a Rolland. I think that's about it. I'm downsizing my 1/72 collection by about 250 kits and selling off all my 1/18 die cast F1 and sports car collection of the 50s,60s and 70s that I've amassed over the years.

I got this kit at my monthly model club meeting.  One of the members has a hobby shop and he brings new kits for sale to the meetings.  And you can call him with requests, which is very handy.
I had planned on getting the Takom kit, but he brought the Meng kit and it was only 30.00, about half the cost of the Takom.  It's a nice kit, no interior, no photoetch, should be a quick build.

Nice! I have the Takom kit. Both seem to be very nicely done, with only minor differences. They do build up pretty quickly as you say. All the fun will be in the painting and weathering. :)

Postie arrived this evening - 6pm! - with my WNW box, containing another SE5a, a DFW, Salmson and a Fokker DVII (Alb). Wonder if I got the very last D7?

Very nice "haul" Sandy, that lot would keep me busy for all of 2016 at my pace! It's a good time to get that extra SE.5a, I suspect it's very close to going the way of the buffalo!
Cheers,
