I have one too Bob, and it looks like it'll be a great project. There have been a wealth of WWI AFV kits hitting the market in the past year with more to come. In particular, Takom has just announced a Mk.I male and female with assorted extras and they look spectacular.

Cheers,

Chris

Nice, von B! I've been seriously considering buying this Whippet. Will you be building it soon? I'd love to see your build. I've also been looking at the Renault FT-17 by Meng. Aahhh, so many distractions!

Hi George,
Not sure if I will be whipping a whippet into shape any time soon, but rest assured I will post details on here when the time comes.
Cheers,
Von B  :)

Thanks to the information here I finally ordered an SE.5 together with the squadrons book. Now there are a Sopwith Pup, Bristol Fighter, DH9, Albatros D.III and soon an SE5 waiting in my 1:32 stash to be built in LVA colors. But when do I have time for this I don't know. There is still a Farman HF20 1:72 waiting with a new superbly detailed engine in resin.

Presently I'm building this product in H0 scale originally delivered in 1914 by Schwartzkopf in Berlin for the dutch railways:

I should stick to ww1 1:32 modelling. Would be a lot better for my wallet ;)

regards,
Ivo

A great purchase Bob, looking forward to seeing it built.

Nice work on the loco Ivo, and I feel your pain, these loco's can be expensive.

Just arrived from Kiwi Decals in "Enzed". Nicely done, appear to be top quality and great subjects. Now, I need to get some Kits to match......... ???

The Ni II and Spads for sure, Steve. The Ni. 17 slot on my shelf is reserved for Bishop's 1566. A beer at CapCon will get you at least 100 reasons why!! Looking forward to meeting you.
