Started the rigging on the DV a few days ago. Hard to see as I still need to paint the wires.

Very nice, Rick!  I blackened mine with a sharpie before I attached them to the plane.  Didn't seem to bother in heat-shrinking at all and made it much easier on my tired eyes.

Great work as usual Rick!
I normally do the same Gaz said, blackening the thread with a sharpie.
How do you usually paint the rigging wires?

Wonderful! Fantastic colors and a great overall finish!
There are so many great late Albatrosses around here these days. They call my name („Look! Look into your stash! There are some D V that want to be built!“...)

Very nice looking model, Rick.  This is a Roden kit, right?

Thanks Gaz. I Normally use a sharpie Myself but thought I would try a little Testors Metalizer paint on this one. I did this once before, on my Pfalz I think  8)

I think I answered your question in my reply to Gaz. Normal procedure is sharpie but I experiment from time to time  ;D

The latest photos are of the Wing Nut Wings DV. The "Other"  Albatros in this thread is Roden. Thanks for looking in and the nice comment.

What the others have written Rick: super work on the WNW kit. I found that using invisible thread nearly drove me bonkers when I rigged the O/400 with it.... You are doing an excellent job with it.

Stephen.
